Well, sort of seclusion. With shelter in place orders all over the country and schools closed, crafting for many people is more difficult. For me it’s meant about 7 hours a week that I had while my mini me was at preschool to do things is gone. It also means I have a backlog of ideas waiting and 3 different projects in the works, 2 knit and 1 crochet, 2 of which should have taken no time to do but here we are a week plus later. And let’s not talk about the backlog of things that need to go on the sales site… I have 1 knit and 1 crochet (easy-ish) project upstairs to work on when the kid is busy and one downstairs for at night while the hubby games.
I did finish one order… and a Rainbow King for the mini me.
Finding time to work on things isn’t easy, but I’m finding time where I can and the hubby is so enjoying having more time with the wee one. I am working on things and trying to share more of what I’m doing. More to come as I get more done. In the mean time, are you working from home now? How are you finding time to get more, or the same amount of, crafting in? What is inspiring you these days?
Let’s share and not feel so secluded. Also, don’t forget to subscribe to the blog so you can keep up on what’s going on in the craft room!
